First time at this place and didn’t disappoint us. This place was recommended by our relatives. The mango sticky rice and ube-pandesal-toffee were really good. A little bit costly for a pint ($13). We also had fuji apple caramel pie.
Putting aside the server who didn't seem to vibe well with my friend and I, had an excellent cortado here. Came back later for some vegan ice cream, splitting between the mango sticky rice and mint: an odd combination to be sure, but I'm glad I was able to try both. My friend took a vegan pot pie and a slice of berry (?) pie to tote back home with them. Lovely food, quick service. I did wince a bit as my waffle cone split single scoop came out to something like $13, but that's the world we live in. Props for the waffle cone being vegan! I can't remember the last time I saw a place so that.
Ice cream flavors are super fun and tasty and the staff are nice! The ube is a must but all the flavors are unique. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!
Love the unique flavors at Stella Jean’s, and this location does not disappoint. We ordered a cone of baklava cheesecake and strawberry oat crumble and another black sesame toasted coconut. Friendly staff and didn’t need to wait long to order. Recommend!
On a staycation in SD. This place was a great recommendation. First, only debit/credit cards only. The ube pendesal-toffee and mango sticky rice was great combo. The kiddo had the oat strawberry crunch and ube which was great too. However, they also have pot pies cooked and frozen. Definitely, will return to grab some ice cream and pot pies to go. Make the trip if your around the area!
