The Neapolitan pizza that South Park was waiting for. VPN-certified oven, imported ingredients, and a garden patio that makes you forget you're in San Diego. The burrata is mandatory.

Went to Buona Forchetta to celebrate a birthday with family. It is a smaller restaurant tucked away in a South Park neighborhood in San Diego. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is comfortable and they have indoor and outdoor dining. The prices are moderate and reasonable. The food was tasty but I thought the Ravioli with porcini mushroom sauce was a tad bland. The desserts were excellent. We had a very pleasant evening there.

I just want to say how wonderful Filippo was as our server tonight. I don't know if I'm spelling his name right but it was my triplets 18th birthday and he made it extra special. The food was spectacular. We will definitely come back soon! everyone loved the pesto, the bread the buona forchetta sauce!

We had a good dinner at buona forchetta. It wasn’t amazing but still enjoyable! It is located in a neighborhood with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is authentic Italian. The lasagna was amazing! The pizza was good but I was disappointed in the presentation/distribution of the toppings. The toppings were very slim and only on part of the pizza. I do recognize and validate that it was a busy Valentine’s Day/Presidents Day weekend and they were short staffed. I did appreciate they were accommodating with the requests we had.

One word; delicious!!! You it's good when you are looking at the menu and other tables, figuring out what to try next time. The artichokes are fabulous for an appetizer. My wife had the Scallops Gnocchi, while I had the sausage, mushroom and truffle pizza. Awesome crust. We finished with the best chocolate mousse in the world. We always order chocolate mousse if it is on the menu and this was the best. Service is great, too!

We went here to celebrate my daughter’s 25th bday. Very nice neighborhood vibe and easy parking. The atmosphere was nice and airy. We ate in an outdoor patio. The menus are huge and have lots of choices. I had the eggplant parm and it was good. I had an espresso martini that was yummy. The pasta is fresh and was really good. The salads looked amazing. Great place to celebrate! I would go again! The waitress was so nice and comped a tiramisu for the bday girl.
