Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream Hillcrest

I entered Handel's after my Saturday bike ride to find the shop filled with pleasant waffle cone scents and cheerful sounds from the local customers. The ice cream counter became my complete focus when I sat down in front of it. The staff members at the counter displayed obvious contentment with their work because they got to provide exceptional freshly made ice cream flavors to customers. I selected mango habanero as my flavor choice because it is exceptional and I watched the server create my sundae through an ice cream preparation process.

Handel’s is hands down the best ice cream shop I’ve ever been to! The flavors are unbelievably fresh, rich, and creamy—you can tell they put real care into every batch. They have so many unique choices that it’s almost impossible to pick just one, but no matter what you order, it’s always delicious. On top of the amazing ice cream, the employees made the experience even better. They were friendly, patient, and genuinely happy to help, even when the line was long. They took the time to explain different flavors, gave great recommendations, and served everything with a smile. You can tell they really enjoy what they do, and it makes the whole atmosphere so welcoming. If you’re looking for the perfect spot to treat yourself, Handel’s is it. Between the incredible ice cream and the outstanding customer service, this place deserves more than 5 stars!

Very nice customer service. The only reson I give it 3 stars is that you can't taste test some ice creams. I've had a few that sounded good but were just AWFUL. I've wasted money on more than a few because of this. In contrast, the ones I liked were great.
