Alchemy - Choose Thy Poison

Leo guided us through the menu, recommending the crudo (which in our deserves a star on its own!). When Chef came out, we had to give him full credits for the delicious crudo. Chef was so nice & mastered the dish. Another spotlight for the Braseado (but I forgot to take a picture of it). Initially skeptical of the parking situation, but worth circling the restaurant 3x to find a good parking spot. We are adding this to our must go-to spots when we visit SD.

Came down from with my girlfriend from our Air BnB to cash in our two free drink tickets. I’ve bartended for 10 years, and single handily one of the best Old Fashioneds i’ve ever had. Stayed for the food and we’re still talking about how delicious it was the next day. Oxtail is pricey but worth every penny! HIGHLY recommend.

The food is pretty good here. The service and atmosphere not so much. I'm sure it's hit or miss. It's like the lobby of an apartment building turned into a tiny restaurant. It's definitely not 5 stars more like 4.25 even if the service and ambience were better.
